Las instalaciones que est\u00e1n ubicadas en la comuna de Colina tienen la capacidad de albergar 15 millones de productos en sus 100 mil metros cuadrados, abastecido en un 100% de energ\u00edas renovables.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEstamos muy orgullosos de inaugurar este tremendo centro de almacenamiento y distribuci\u00f3n que nos permite hacer eficientes entregas a lo largo de todo nuestro pa\u00eds\u201d, declar\u00f3 el director ejecutivo de Mercado Libre para Chile, Per\u00fa y Ecuador, Alan Meyer, en la presentaci\u00f3n del evento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La actividad tuvo la presencia del ministro de Hacienda, Mario Marcel, y de la alcaldesa de Colina, Isabel Valenzuela, quienes valoraron el aporte de la multinacional tanto a la econom\u00eda del pa\u00eds como a la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En esa l\u00ednea, Mercado Libre ha desarrollado una nueva modalidad log\u00edstica, en la que m\u00e1s de 500 comercios de barrio operan como centros de env\u00edo en diferentes regiones del pa\u00eds. Teniendo as\u00ed, m\u00e1s de 14 Service Centers distribuidos en: la regi\u00f3n de Antofagasta, Atacama, Coquimbo, Valpara\u00edso, Libertador General Bernardo O&#8217;Higgins, Maule, B\u00edo B\u00edo, \u00d1uble, La Araucan\u00eda, Los Lagos, y Los R\u00edos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A su vez, el directivo recalc\u00f3 en el aporte concreto de esta expansi\u00f3n. \u201cLa operaci\u00f3n de este centro implica alrededor de unos 1.000 puestos de trabajo y es pieza fundamental para nuestro prop\u00f3sito como compa\u00f1\u00eda, que es democratizar el comercio electr\u00f3nico, conectando regiones y derribando barreras geogr\u00e1ficas.
