Todos ellos tienen algo en com\u00fan: pertenecen a los llamados \u201cfrontline workers\u201d, que representan un 80% de la masa laboral a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se trata de empleados que realizan tareas operativas, que generalmente son rutinarias y que han aprendido a partir de la experiencia; en la faena, no en la academia. Las capacitaciones, hoy principalmente en formatos digitales y asincr\u00f3nicos, est\u00e1n m\u00e1s bien orientadas a l\u00edneas de gesti\u00f3n o profesionales especialistas, y pocas veces llegan hasta sus posiciones, limitando sus oportunidades de desarrollo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pesar de esa aparente invisibilidad, en Chile son la \u201cfuerza motriz\u201d de los sectores productivos donde se localizan en forma mayoritaria: la miner\u00eda, la construcci\u00f3n, la pesca y la agricultura; principalmente grandes empresas que, aunque representan el 1% de las organizaciones del pa\u00eds, concentran el 50% de la fuerza laboral, con 4,5 millones de trabajadores. Sus funciones, adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1n siendo impactadas directamente por la inclusi\u00f3n de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo ha llamado la atenci\u00f3n sobre la p\u00e9rdida econ\u00f3mica que representa el rezago en habilidades de la fuerza laboral. Algo que han comprobado las grandes empresas, tomando conciencia del protagonismo de estos trabajadores de nivel operativo, tanto en los logros como en las brechas que persisten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La transformaci\u00f3n digital y automatizaci\u00f3n de estas industrias aumentan las presiones para el desarrollo de carrera o la reconversi\u00f3n de muchos de estos oficios, cuyo futuro es incierto; en tanto, cambios sociales y laborales, como la reducci\u00f3n de la jornada a 40 horas, ponen el acento en su productividad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A nivel pa\u00eds, y sobre todo en las empresas en que se desempe\u00f1an, es hora de reconocer su aporte y avanzar hacia la profesionalizaci\u00f3n de sus oficios, acreditando la experiencia y las capacidades que poseen a trav\u00e9s de programas que cumplan con ese prop\u00f3sito. Asimismo, y en paralelo, se requiere invertir en su desarrollo de carrera con m\u00e1s capacitaci\u00f3n y especializaci\u00f3n, beneficiando al trabajador, que va a tener m\u00e1s y mejores oportunidades de movilidad y ascenso, incrementando su motivaci\u00f3n con la labor realizada, y a la vez aumentando la productividad, que ha sido se\u00f1alada como uno de los \u201ccuellos de botella\u201d para alcanzar el desarrollo de Chile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como Circular HR, consultora de desarrollo humano de Fundaci\u00f3n Chile, podemos dar fe del impacto positivo que produce en los trabajadores y en sus familias el reconocimiento a su oficio.
