La compa\u00f1\u00eda ha crecido en los \u00faltimos seis a\u00f1os, pasando de tener 2 plantas productivas y 3 centros de distribuci\u00f3n, a 3 plantas productivas y 11 centros de distribuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La necesidad de internalizar la operativa log\u00edstica fue la principal raz\u00f3n por la que ICB decidi\u00f3 abrir una nueva bodega. \u201cNuestra operaci\u00f3n era realizada como cross-docking por un operador log\u00edstico; pero el crecimiento en venta en la zona norte del pa\u00eds con nuestra omnicanalidad nos llev\u00f3 a la necesidad de mejorar el leadtime de entrega de nuestros pedidos\u201d, afirma Roberto Ignacio Olavarr\u00eda, Subgerente de Log\u00edstica de ICB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Atendiendo la necesidad de acelerar los tiempos, AR Racking instal\u00f3 una soluci\u00f3n de racks selectivos para pallets, un tipo de rack industrial, pensado para almacenar la unidad de carga paletizada de forma mec\u00e1nica y \u00e1gil con el objetivo de localizar r\u00e1pidamente cada pallet permitiendo un acceso directo e inmediato. As\u00ed lo confirman desde ICB: \u201chemos conseguido que los plazos de entrega se hayan reducido de 5 d\u00edas a 24-48h, dependiendo de la frecuencia de cada sala\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La capacidad de almacenaje generada es de 1.500 pallets y los racks cuenta con una altura de 8.500 mm. El sistema selectivo permite adem\u00e1s regular los niveles de carga, habilitando en este caso zonas para picking para las mercanc\u00edas de menor tama\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AR Racking dispone de una bodega de stock con producto terminado que lo convierten en uno de los proveedores de racks industriales con los plazos de entrega m\u00e1s competitivos del mercado. Con relaci\u00f3n a este proyecto, Germ\u00e1n Flores, Gerente General de AR Racking Chile, explica que se cumplieron los plazos estipulados en el anteproyecto; y as\u00ed lo ratifica Olavarr\u00eda: \u201clograron cumplir de manera exitosa la implementaci\u00f3n.
