Sin embargo, suelta su arn\u00e9s intencionalmente y experimenta una ca\u00edda libre desde la altura m\u00e1xima de un rack en la operaci\u00f3n.&nbsp;Un evento como este puede provocar un accidente grave si ocurre en la realidad del centro de distribuci\u00f3n, donde diariamente los trabajadores realizan labores en altura. Sin embargo, en esta oportunidad, la ca\u00edda solo fue una simulaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esto es gracias al trabajo que ha venido realizando el \u00e1rea de Safety APL Logistics Chile, que busca continuar innovando en materia de Cultura en Seguridad en los trabajadores, por medio de la experimentaci\u00f3n de situaciones cr\u00edticas, recreadas en una herramienta de Realidad Virtual.&nbsp;En este universo, se recrea a la perfecci\u00f3n un centro de distribuci\u00f3n, con sus m\u00e1quinas, racks, se\u00f1al\u00e9ticas, imagen corporativa de APLL y su gente trabajando; donde se viven situaciones cotidianas, y el trabajador debe tomar las decisiones correctas para mantenerse seguro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para John Burdiles, Safety Manager APL Logistics Chile &amp; M\u00e9xico, \u201cEl desarrollo de esta nueva aplicaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica viene a complementar el entrenamiento que se ha venido realizando de manera tradicional, y especialmente a reforzar nuestra Cultura de Seguridad, incorporando experiencias virtuales que refuercen lo aprendido y den la posibilidad de experimentar los riesgos de las conductas inseguras y la toma de buenas decisiones en t\u00e9rminos de autocuidado\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta soluci\u00f3n cuenta con ocho m\u00f3dulos de entrenamientos, a los que cada trabajador puede acceder de acuerdo al \u00e1rea en la que se desempe\u00f1a, incluyendo liderazgo en la seguridad, autocuidado, preparaci\u00f3n frente a una emergencia, conducci\u00f3n de m\u00e1quina y\/o carretilla elevadora, seguridad en el muelle de carga y descarga entre otros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cA trav\u00e9s de esta herramienta, estamos dando un paso m\u00e1s hacia nuestra consolidaci\u00f3n como l\u00edderes de seguridad en la industria log\u00edstica a nivel local, reforzando la disminuci\u00f3n constante de la accidentabilidad en nuestra compa\u00f1\u00eda a nivel global\u201d, enfatiza John Burdiles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">APLL cuenta con una tasa anual de accidentabilidad local que alcanz\u00f3 el 1.4% al mes de febrero 2019, versus 1.6% registrado en el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior, buscando una meta del 1%.
