Seg\u00fan el estudio \u00abTama\u00f1o del mercado de automatizaci\u00f3n de procesos en Am\u00e9rica Latina\u00bb de Mordor Intelligence (2024), se proyecta que este mercado crecer\u00e1 a una tasa anual compuesta del 5,98% entre 2024 y 2029. Esta tendencia refleja el creciente inter\u00e9s por las tecnolog\u00edas que optimizan los procesos industriales y de manufactura.<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, recientemente se llev\u00f3 a cabo el evento \u201cInnovation Talk: Open Automation Chile\u201d, un foro dedicado a promover el avance de la automatizaci\u00f3n industrial donde expertos de diversas industrias discutieron c\u00f3mo la automatizaci\u00f3n puede potenciar operaciones m\u00e1s eficientes y sostenibles a trav\u00e9s de soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas avanzadas.<\/p>\n<p>Jorge De La Rivera, VP de Industrial Automation en Schneider Electric, resalt\u00f3 las oportunidades que ofrece Chile en el \u00e1mbito tecnol\u00f3gico. \u201cEs un mercado clave, tanto a nivel regional como global, debido a sus empresas l\u00edderes en diversos sectores. El pa\u00eds se destaca en la regi\u00f3n por su avance en la automatizaci\u00f3n de procesos, particularmente en la automatizaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica con inteligencia artificial, lo que est\u00e1 permitiendo optimizar de manera significativa los procesos industriales\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Y es que Chile ha logrado avances significativos en el desarrollo energ\u00e9tico y las energ\u00edas renovables siguen escalando su participaci\u00f3n en la matriz energ\u00e9tica del pa\u00eds. Esto \u00faltimo lo confirman las cifras publicadas por el Coordinador El\u00e9ctrico Nacional (CEN) en su Informe de Novedades, datos que reflejan que durante el primer trimestre de 2024 la generaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica en base a ERNC alcanz\u00f3 un 41% del total de la energ\u00eda producida en Chile.<\/p>\n<p>Para mantener estas cifras, es fundamental contar con tecnolog\u00edas que demuestren su impacto en \u00e1reas clave como la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, por lo que es crucial apostar por la automatizaci\u00f3n y la digitalizaci\u00f3n para lograrlo. Al respecto, De la Rivera se\u00f1ala: \u201cHoy en d\u00eda el desaf\u00edo va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de ser simplemente eficientes; se trata de contribuir activamente a la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica y optimizaci\u00f3n de los procesos industriales. Aunque estos temas se mencionan frecuentemente, es vital que los <em>stakeholders<\/em> est\u00e9n realmente convencidos del valor que la tecnolog\u00eda aporta para alcanzar estos objetivos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Con una demanda cada vez mayor de soluciones que minimicen el impacto ambiental y optimicen el uso de recursos, pa\u00edses como Chile est\u00e1n bien posicionados para liderar esta transformaci\u00f3n. La integraci\u00f3n de estas tecnolog\u00edas, combinada con una fuerte apertura a la innovaci\u00f3n, ser\u00e1 fundamental para asegurar el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico y el desarrollo sostenible de la regi\u00f3n en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, Gabriel Estay, director de Industrial Automation de Schneider Electric, se\u00f1ala que uno de &nbsp;los mayores desaf\u00edos para las empresas chilenas es definir con claridad las soluciones que necesitan. \u00abMuchas veces los clientes identifican problemas en sus operaciones, pero la gran variedad de opciones disponibles en el mercado dificulta encontrar la soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s adecuada.
