Hoy, empresas multinacionales como Unilever y Procter &amp; Gamble est\u00e1n demostrando que la gesti\u00f3n eficiente de la cadena de suministro no solo puede ayudar a avanzar en la deseada optimizaci\u00f3n de las operaciones, sino que tambi\u00e9n genera un impacto significativo en la sostenibilidad y la creaci\u00f3n de valor compartido, respondiendo a las necesidades de un contexto global en permanente transformaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El posicionamiento de la gesti\u00f3n de la cadena de suministro como un \u00e1rea estrat\u00e9gica al interior de las compa\u00f1\u00edas ha tomado impulso desde inicios de la d\u00e9cada de 2010. Este periodo marc\u00f3 un punto de inflexi\u00f3n, y las organizaciones comenzaron a reconocer la necesidad de alinear su cadena de suministro con las metas corporativas en un panorama global cada vez m\u00e1s competitivo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La r\u00e1pida evoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica, con ejemplos destacados como el de Amazon y Walmart, ha permitido a las compa\u00f1\u00edas responder de manera m\u00e1s \u00e1gil a las fluctuaciones del mercado. Adem\u00e1s, la crisis sanitaria mundial subray\u00f3 la importancia de una gesti\u00f3n robusta de la cadena de abastecimiento para garantizar la resiliencia y la capacidad de adaptaci\u00f3n empresarial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, Chile ha avanzado considerablemente hacia la adopci\u00f3n de pr\u00e1cticas innovadoras en la gesti\u00f3n de la cadena de suministro. Empresas emblem\u00e1ticas, como Cencosud y Latam Airlines, han comenzado a apreciar y capitalizar el rol determinante que esta \u00e1rea juega en su competitividad. En un pa\u00eds que enfrenta desaf\u00edos por su inserci\u00f3n en un entorno global incierto, la implementaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas y un enfoque decidido en la sostenibilidad se han vuelto vitales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No obstante, es fundamental cultivar capacidades locales con visiones estrat\u00e9gicas a largo plazo. En concreto, la Alta Direcci\u00f3n tiene un rol fundamental en la gesti\u00f3n eficiente de las estrategias de toma de decisi\u00f3n en Supply Chain, lo que ofrece un espacio para enriquecer los procesos de transformaci\u00f3n que Chile y Latinoam\u00e9rica est\u00e1n viviendo en la actualidad en cuanto a las interconexiones entre empresas locales y globales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los desaf\u00edos por delante son significativos y requieren atenci\u00f3n seria. Integrar eficientemente tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas, desarrollar l\u00edderes que entiendan profundamente la conexi\u00f3n entre operaciones y estrategia, y fomentar una cultura de colaboraci\u00f3n interdepartamental son aspectos cruciales. Este enfoque ha sido adoptado, por ejemplo, por empresas como Nestl\u00e9, que ha hecho de esto una pr\u00e1ctica regular en su gesti\u00f3n.
