Seg\u00fan el Banco Mundial<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>, una mayor diversidad en el transporte mejora el desempe\u00f1o de los sistemas al incorporar distintas miradas y capacidades en los roles operativos y de gesti\u00f3n. Sin embargo, las mujeres siguen concentradas principalmente en funciones administrativas, mientras que los puestos m\u00e1s especializados, como la conducci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos, contin\u00faan siendo mayoritariamente masculinos. En Estados Unidos, por ejemplo, el WIT Index 2024 reporta que las mujeres representan un 9,5% de quienes conducen camiones profesionales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En Chile, la participaci\u00f3n femenina en la conducci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos de carga es a\u00fan m\u00e1s baja. Las licencias profesionales A4 y A5 son las que habilitan la operaci\u00f3n de camiones de gran capacidad y articulados, esenciales para la cadena de suministro. Seg\u00fan informaci\u00f3n del INE, al 2023, las licencias A4, otorgadas a mujeres corresponden a un 3%, mientras que en la A5 la cifra es solo 1,4%. Ahora bien, los n\u00fameros absolutos insin\u00faan un punto de inflexi\u00f3n: entre 2018 y 2023, las mujeres que obtuvieron A4 pasaron de cerca de 1.500 a m\u00e1s de 3.000, y en A5 de unas 120 a m\u00e1s de 550. Por otro lado, la Encuesta Nacional de Demanda Laboral 2024 identifica la ocupaci\u00f3n de conductores de camiones pesados y de alto tonelaje entre las que presentan mayores dificultades de contrataci\u00f3n. Frente a la escasez de conductores y el inter\u00e9s creciente de mujeres por incorporarse al rubro, surge la pregunta: \u00bfpuede el sector log\u00edstico chileno transformar este desaf\u00edo en una oportunidad para construir una industria m\u00e1s inclusiva y competitiva?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El transporte de pasajeros en Chile ofrece un ejemplo cercano de transformaci\u00f3n en un entorno igualmente masculinizado, donde la coordinaci\u00f3n entre instituciones p\u00fablicas y privadas ha marcado la diferencia. La Direcci\u00f3n de Transporte P\u00fablico Metropolitano demuestra que los cambios son posibles cuando existe un esfuerzo coordinado. Gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n del sector p\u00fablico, financistas de becas, empresas operadoras, escuelas de conducci\u00f3n y gobiernos locales, la participaci\u00f3n femenina en la conducci\u00f3n de buses del sistema RED pas\u00f3 de un 0,24% en 2007 a un 13% en 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con la misma l\u00f3gica transformadora y colaborativa surge la iniciativa \u201cM\u00e1s Mujeres Conductoras en Log\u00edstica\u201d, liderada por Conecta Log\u00edstica, el Programa de Desarrollo Log\u00edstico del Ministerio de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones y Women in Supply Chain Chile, con el apoyo de OTIC SOFOFA, SENCE y la Ilustre Municipalidad de Renca. Como acci\u00f3n pionera, la iniciativa se desarrolla en Renca, a partir del levantamiento de necesidades de contrataci\u00f3n de nueve empresas del sector \u2014CCU, Sotraser, Cargotrans Schiappacasse, Grupo Ahona, Walmart, CCTI, Enrique y Renzo Cavalieri y C\u00eda. (NewTruck), Ortega Transportes y DHL Global Forwarding Chile\u2014, que se comprometieron a incorporar conductoras en sus operaciones. A partir de esa demanda, se articul\u00f3 con OTIC SOFOFA 15 becas de formaci\u00f3n para la licencia A5, mientras que el Municipio apoy\u00f3 activamente en la convocatoria, que gener\u00f3 una respuesta muy positiva con m\u00e1s de 100 mujeres postulantes. Las actividades formativas comenzar\u00e1n en octubre de 2025, dando inicio a un proceso estructurado de capacitaci\u00f3n y empleabilidad femenina en el transporte de carga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque la participaci\u00f3n femenina en la conducci\u00f3n de camiones sigue siendo baja, las se\u00f1ales de cambio ya son visibles. Conecta Log\u00edstica, desde su rol articulador, est\u00e1 impulsando acciones concretas que abren nuevas oportunidades para las mujeres en el sector.
