En comunas como La Florida los portonazos han aumentado un 50%, es decir, desde que comenzaron las cuarentenas la cantidad ha ascendido a 340 delitos de este tipo. Cifras como \u00e9stas alarman a la poblaci\u00f3n y no dejan indiferente al Gobierno, que en conjunto con la PDI, ha creado la plataforma Auto Seguro, para la posible recuperaci\u00f3n por patente y para evitar seguir lamentando eventos delictuales relacionados a robo de autom\u00f3viles. \u201cEn este periodo, los delincuentes est\u00e1n m\u00e1s violentos, han dejado atr\u00e1s las t\u00e9cnicas silenciosas para robar autos, se sienten con la libertad de hacerlo y debemos tomar medidas para evitar la sustracci\u00f3n o, en su defecto, la recuperaci\u00f3n del auto\u201d, comenta Juan Ignacio Duarte, gerente general de MiGPS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como manera de contribuir a la seguridad de la ciudadan\u00eda en estos momentos, WiseCity, aplicaci\u00f3n gratuita descargable desde cualquier smartphone, Android (PlayStore) o iPhone (AppStore), al servicio de todos, permite acceder a un bot\u00f3n de p\u00e1nico y asistencia en caso de sustracci\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo. \u201cGracias a esta soluci\u00f3n, tenemos un porcentaje de efectividad del 70% de autom\u00f3viles recuperados durante el 2020; 80% de ellos con soluci\u00f3n de corte remoto y un 20% con GPS sin corte, en un universo de 65.000 monitoreados\u201d, indica Duarte.
