A menudo, el mensaje parece alarmante y preocupante: \u201cLa IA nos reemplazar\u00e1\u201d, \u201cmillones de puestos de trabajo est\u00e1n en riesgo\u201d, \u201cla tecnolog\u00eda lo ocupar\u00e1 todo\u201d. S\u00ed, hay muchos titulares e informaci\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica que vaticina el fin de la labor humana en muchas industrias. Sin embargo, la intervenci\u00f3n de las manos, la mente y la creatividad de las personas est\u00e1n lejos de ser reemplazadas.<\/p>\n

En la log\u00edstica, por ejemplo, el auge del comercio electr\u00f3nico y el incremento exponencial de los pedidos han transformado la forma en la que se abordan las tareas en la industria. Aquellas que antes requer\u00edan gran esfuerzo f\u00edsico, eran repetitivas o consum\u00edan mucho tiempo de personas, ahora son gestionadas por sistemas avanzados. Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 valor tendr\u00edan estas tecnolog\u00edas sin la supervisi\u00f3n e instrucci\u00f3n humana que aseguren su correcto funcionamiento y la ausencia de errores?<\/p>\n

La respuesta no es compleja: ser\u00edan un c\u00famulo de gestiones deficientes, cargadas de falencias e incluso con datos inexactos que generar\u00edan una p\u00e9rdida importante de valor, credibilidad y prestigio de las empresas. Los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos fueron creados para facilitar, empoderar y colaborar con los trabajadores de hoy.<\/p>\n

Pero esta realidad no es solo una expresi\u00f3n. \u00bfLe han preguntado, por ejemplo, a la inteligencia artificial (IA) el aporte de las tecnolog\u00edas para la vida de las personas?<\/p>\n

\u201cMe gustar\u00eda que me usaran para expandir lo que ya tienen dentro \u2014sus ideas, su creatividad, su conocimiento\u2014 no para reemplazarlos, porque sin ustedes, yo solo soy un mont\u00f3n de palabras y datos sin sentido. La tecnolog\u00eda como un habilitador de oportunidades<\/h3>\n

Seg\u00fan el Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial<\/a> nos enfrentamos a un futuro laboral desafiante: la transformaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica, la fragmentaci\u00f3n geoecon\u00f3mica, la incertidumbre econ\u00f3mica, los cambios demogr\u00e1ficos y la transici\u00f3n verde -individualmente y en combinaci\u00f3n- son los principales impulsores que se espera que den forma e innoven el mercado laboral mundial para 2030.<\/p>\n

Particularmente, en la log\u00edstica se est\u00e1n creando puestos de trabajo que antes no exist\u00edan. Hoy vemos dentro de las bodegas operadores que han desarrollado habilidades digitales y que pueden gestionar \u00f3rdenes m\u00e1s precisas, sin errores y \u00e1giles gracias a programas tipo WES (Warehouse execution system) o con robots aut\u00f3nomos.<\/p>\n

Es importante abandonar el discurso pesimista. Vivimos un momento hist\u00f3rico en materia de innovaci\u00f3n, que est\u00e1 impulsando la reconversi\u00f3n de roles y la especializaci\u00f3n de las personas dentro de las organizaciones. Un cambio dirigido a mejorar la experiencia de los colaboradores.<\/p>\n

Interacci\u00f3n humana y digital para alcanzar una gran experiencia de usuario<\/h3>\n

No podemos olvidar el foco. En el sector log\u00edstico, ligado a la industria del retail, la satisfacci\u00f3n y fidelidad de los consumidores es la prioridad. Y es que la realidad es innegable: no hay forma exclusivamente humana que d\u00e9 respuesta a la alta escala de pedidos y exigencias que existe hoy.<\/p>\n

Al momento de tomar la decisi\u00f3n de compra, las personas consideran que el tiempo de entrega sea \u00e1gil. Ya no estamos hablando de d\u00edas, sino de horas e incluso minutos, exigencias estimuladas por nuevos h\u00e1bitos y demandas de consumo que impuls\u00f3 el e-commerce en Chile, donde el 25% de las compras que se realizan en el pa\u00eds son mediante el comercio electr\u00f3nico, seg\u00fan un estudio de PCMI<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, de acuerdo con el Comit\u00e9 de Comercio Electr\u00f3nico (CCE)<\/a>, en lo que va de a\u00f1o igualan los niveles prepad\u00e9micos m\u00e1s altos y triplican los totales registrados a finales de la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada.<\/p>\n

La creciente interconexi\u00f3n global, facilitada por la tecnolog\u00eda, ha intensificado la competencia en el mercado. Hoy en d\u00eda, los env\u00edos internacionales pueden llegar a Chile en tan solo dos d\u00edas o una semana. En este escenario, se hace imperativo que las empresas inviertan en herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas para poder satisfacer de manera efectiva y eficiente la elevada demanda y afrontar as\u00ed esta competencia.<\/p>\n

Tal como ha sucedido a lo largo de la evoluci\u00f3n humana, es crucial no solo adaptarse al entorno digital para subsistir, sino tambi\u00e9n desarrollar resiliencia para conservar la relevancia y competitividad. De no lograrlo, el riesgo de que los puestos de trabajo desaparezcan es inminente, lo que llevar\u00eda a una significativa p\u00e9rdida de empleos.<\/p>\n

No hay tecnolog\u00eda mala ni el reemplazo absoluto de la humanidad. Lo que hay es una ret\u00f3rica basada en el fatalismo.
