El objetivo es convertir los datos en conocimiento \u00fatil para prevenir incidentes antes de que ocurran.<\/strong><\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Santiago, diciembre de 2025.<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0 \u201cCada veh\u00edculo transmite informaci\u00f3n en tiempo real sobre posici\u00f3n, velocidad, temperatura, comportamiento del conductor y condiciones de entorno. Los modelos de lenguaje nos permiten interpretar ese volumen masivo de datos no solo para reportar lo que pas\u00f3, sino para entender por qu\u00e9 ocurri\u00f3 y anticipar lo que podr\u00eda pasar\u201d, explica Cristi\u00e1n L\u00f3pez, gerente de Tecnolog\u00eda de GPS Chile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Anal\u00edtica predictiva y forense<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La empresa trabaja en el desarrollo de un sistema de anal\u00edtica de seguridad con doble prop\u00f3sito: predictivo (para detectar patrones de riesgo y anticiparse a eventos como accidentes o fallas mec\u00e1nicas) y forense (para reconstruir de manera detallada lo ocurrido tras un incidente, similar a la metodolog\u00eda de la serie <em>Mayday: Cat\u00e1strofes a\u00e9reas)<\/em>, cuya primera versi\u00f3n estar\u00e1 disponible durante el primer trimestre de 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aplicado especialmente en miner\u00eda, el sistema integrar\u00e1 datos de telemetr\u00eda, video y sensores de fatiga, permitiendo correlacionar variables como velocidad, terreno, clima o conducta del conductor con incidentes cr\u00edticos. \u201cEstamos combinando la potencia del an\u00e1lisis estad\u00edstico con la comprensi\u00f3n contextual de los modelos de lenguaje. Esto nos permite aprender del pasado para prevenir el futuro\u201d, a\u00f1ade Cristi\u00e1n L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los dispositivos instalados por GPS Chile \u2014que actualmente monitorean m\u00e1s de 40 mil veh\u00edculos en todo el pa\u00eds\u2014 registran par\u00e1metros como posici\u00f3n, velocidad, temperatura de carga, proximidad y alertas de fatiga o distracci\u00f3n. A partir de esa informaci\u00f3n, los algoritmos pueden identificar patrones que indiquen deterioro de h\u00e1bitos de conducci\u00f3n o condiciones mec\u00e1nicas an\u00f3malas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En miner\u00eda, esta anal\u00edtica permitir\u00e1 detectar incumplimientos de velocidad por zona o anticipar incidentes en rutas de alta monta\u00f1a; en el transporte de carga y \u00faltima milla, podr\u00e1 identificar desv\u00edos, p\u00e9rdidas o tiempos ociosos; y en el transporte de pasajeros, servir\u00e1 para evaluar conducci\u00f3n segura y auditor\u00edas regulatorias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cultura de prevenci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De acuerdo con la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Seguridad de Tr\u00e1nsito (CONASET), entre un 20% y 30% de los accidentes de veh\u00edculos pesados se asocian a fatiga o distracci\u00f3n. Para GPS Chile, la clave est\u00e1 en transformar la informaci\u00f3n en decisiones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEl desaf\u00edo no es solo tecnol\u00f3gico, sino cultural: c\u00f3mo usamos los datos para mejorar la seguridad y la eficiencia.
