Durante enero y febrero, los terminales del principal puerto de Chile movilizaron 3.861.752 toneladas, lo que representa un aumento de 2,2% respecto del mismo periodo de 2025.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este resultado equivale a 82.593 toneladas m\u00e1s que en los dos primeros meses del a\u00f1o pasado, manteniendo as\u00ed el s\u00f3lido desempe\u00f1o registrado durante 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Uno de los principales factores que explica este crecimiento fue el aumento de la carga contenerizada, que alcanz\u00f3 2.976.563 toneladas en el acumulado de enero y febrero, con un alza de 4,4% en comparaci\u00f3n con igual periodo de 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La carga fraccionada tambi\u00e9n mostr\u00f3 resultados positivos, al pasar de 84.472 a 86.945 toneladas, lo que equivale a un crecimiento de 3%. En la misma l\u00ednea, la transferencia de TEU totaliz\u00f3 338.082 TEU, con un incremento cercano al 3%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Algunos tipos de carga bajaron en comparaci\u00f3n con el a\u00f1o pasado: el granel s\u00f3lido (-1%), los veh\u00edculos (-4,8%) y el granel l\u00edquido (-26%).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPuerto San Antonio comenz\u00f3 2026 con cifras positivas, lo que confirma el dinamismo sostenido de la actividad portuaria. Con el avance de Puerto Exterior y otras iniciativas vinculadas al Nuevo Modelo Log\u00edstico, estamos fortaleciendo la eficiencia, competitividad y capacidad del puerto para responder a las exigencias del comercio exterior y de la industria, y sobre todo, anticiparnos a un escenario de congesti\u00f3n portuaria que podr\u00eda darse si Puerto San Antonio se acerca al l\u00edmite de su capacidad actual, que es 2,65 millones de TEU al a\u00f1o\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el gerente general (s) de Puerto San Antonio, Fernando Gajardo V\u00e1squez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2025, Puerto San Antonio se transform\u00f3 en el primer puerto chileno en superar los 2 millones de TEU movilizados, alcanzando 2.060.244 unidades, lo que represent\u00f3 un incremento de 14% respecto del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Puerto San Antonio inici\u00f3 2026 con un positivo desempe\u00f1o en transferencia de carga.
