SAAM Logistics, recibi\u00f3 sello de Cuantificaci\u00f3n de Huella Chile- programa del Ministerio de Medioambiente- por la medici\u00f3n y verificaci\u00f3n de sus emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI). Esta es la segunda vez que la compa\u00f1\u00eda recibe esta certificaci\u00f3n, la que da cuenta de su importante gesti\u00f3n en temas medioambientales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El gerente de SAAM Logistics Chile, Fernando Encinas, se\u00f1al\u00f3 \u201cla entrega de este sello es muestra del compromiso que adquirimos de implementar acciones y soluciones sostenibles en nuestras operaciones. Se\u00f1al de ello, es la decisi\u00f3n de utilizar el tren para el traslado de contenedores, lo que nos ha ayudado a reducir en un 68% las emisiones de Co2 a la atm\u00f3sfera. Esta es una alternativa log\u00edstica m\u00e1s eficiente, certera y responsable con el planeta, ya que permite descongestionar carreteras y quitarle presi\u00f3n al flujo vehicular\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El ejecutivo agreg\u00f3 que para el 2021 seguir\u00e1n trabajando en fortalecer las iniciativas en esta \u00e1rea, con el objetivo de alcanzar el sello de Reducci\u00f3n de GEI. <br \/>El programa Huella Chile del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente, tiene como objetivo fomentar el c\u00e1lculo, reporte y gesti\u00f3n de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) en organizaciones del sector p\u00fablico y privado. Adem\u00e1s, permite la cuantificaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n voluntaria de dichas emisiones, entregando herramientas que favorecen el c\u00e1lculo de la huella de carbono.
