EXCESOS DE VELOCIDAD SON LA CAUSA DEL 30% DE LOS DECESOS EN ACCIDENTES VIALES.<\/p>\n

Debido a las cifras actuales se hace urgente contar con medidas que aseguren tanto a los transportistas como a las empresas de carga, que pueden realizar su labor con el menor porcentaje de riesgo posible, llegando a destino sin m\u00e1s novedad que una entrega eficaz.<\/p>\n

Marzo 2021.- Desde hace a\u00f1os la seguridad vial en las carreteras a lo largo de Chile es un tema imprescindible, no solo porque son las principales arterias que mantienen comunicado y abastecido al pa\u00eds entero, sino que tambi\u00e9n porque a diario miles de choferes se ven enfrentados a incidentes que ponen en riesgo su vida y la de sus compa\u00f1eros. De acuerdo a las estad\u00edsticas entregadas por la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Seguridad de Tr\u00e1nsito (Conaset) y la Superintendencia de Seguridad Social (SUSESO), junto con datos de Wisetrack Corp, se ha logrado mostrar que existe relaci\u00f3n directamente proporcional entre los excesos de velocidad y los accidentes de tr\u00e1nsito enfocados principalmente en el transporte de carga pesada por carretera.<\/p>\n

El exceso de velocidad en las carreteras de Chile, hace ya un tiempo, pas\u00f3 de ser un problema latente a uno real, ocasionando el 68% de los accidentes durante el a\u00f1o 2020. Para ejemplificar la gravedad de este tipo de eventos se menciona que, en un viaje de 100 km ocurren dos alertas graves que podr\u00edan terminar en un accidente, es decir, sucede un exceso de velocidad grave cada 47 KM recorridos. \u201cLamentablemente en Chile, y la mayor\u00eda de los pa\u00edses de Latinoam\u00e9rica, conducir por sobre las velocidades permitidas se considera algo pr\u00e1cticamente normal, socialmente aceptable, como si fuese una falta leve igual que botar basura en la calle o hacer ruidos molestos en horas no permitidas. Pero la diferencia es inmensa, porque no se dimensiona que ese exceso de velocidad puede terminar en la muerte de un ser humano\u201d, comenta Rodrigo Serrano, vicepresidente Corporativo de Innovaci\u00f3n en Wisetrack Corp. Es por ello que se hace tan urgente que las empresas implementen tecnolog\u00edas de registro y an\u00e1lisis de conducci\u00f3n, las que permiten alertar en l\u00ednea y m\u00e1s importante a\u00fan, generar clasificaciones de los conductores y predicciones de riesgo para tomar medidas como intervenciones, recapacitaciones y sanciones que finalmente har\u00e1n de las carreteras un lugar m\u00e1s seguro para transitar y trabajar.<\/p>\n

Respecto a los excesos de velocidad por gravedad, un 86% corresponde a leves, 10% a graves y un 4% a grav\u00edsimas. En cuanto a los decesos por esta causa, las cifras informan que es motivo del 30% de las muertes en accidentes viales. Tal como menciona Serrano, \u201clos excesos de velocidad son completamente evitables, son parte de las actitudes de riesgo que consideramos voluntarias, y salvo m\u00ednimas excepciones, no hay excusas para cometerlos\u201d.<\/p>\n

Otro par\u00e1metro que se registra al alza en el reporte de Seguridad Vial de la Industria del Transporte de Carga 2020 es el de multas de tr\u00e1nsito. Del total, que ascendieron a 180.000, 16,8% corresponde a excesos de velocidad. Durante 2019, en tanto, se cursaron m\u00e1s de 30.000 solo por multas de tr\u00e1nsito. \u201cTodo exceso de velocidad constituye un potencial accidente, pero cuando hablamos de Transporte de Carga las posibles consecuencias aumentan exponencialmente y es por ello que disminuirlos e idealmente evitarlos debe ser una prioridad de la Industria\u201d, concluye Serrano.<\/p>\n
