El Ever Given mide 400 metros de largo y pesa 200 mil toneladas; con una capacidad m\u00e1xima de 20 mil contenedores, es uno de los cargueros m\u00e1s grandes del mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hasta el domingo, hab\u00eda 369 barcos atrapados esperando pasar por este canal navegable de 193 kil\u00f3metros. El canal, inaugurado en 1869 es una de las principales arterias econ\u00f3micas del mundo, pues por ella pasa m\u00e1s del 12% del comercio mundial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La situaci\u00f3n ha causado una fuerte preocupaci\u00f3n y frustraci\u00f3n en la industria naviera a nivel mundial, pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo nos afecta en Chile?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es probable que veamos una congesti\u00f3n en los puertos europeos dentro de unas semanas. Los atrasos en recepci\u00f3n de cargas (por el bloqueo, naturalmente) significar\u00e1n que el retorno de las mismas naves a sus puertos de origen en Asia sea m\u00e1s lento. Esto, a su vez, genera presi\u00f3n para nuevas cargas que deben salir de China, la baja tasa de regreso de contenedores y el constante aumento por la demanda de ellos genera una ecuaci\u00f3n conocida y que probablemente revivir\u00e1 el fantasma de la falta de contenedores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A nivel macro, los atrasos en la recepci\u00f3n de materias primas provenientes de Europa a China retardar\u00e1n las producciones de nuevos bienes. En t\u00e9rminos concretos, las navieras est\u00e1n anunciando ajustes de capacidad para mayo, reduciendo su oferta (lo que llevar\u00e1 a una escalada nuevamente de tarifas) de manera de enfrentar el periodo de aumento de carga (Julio \u2013 Diciembre) con mejores expectativas de stock de contenedores y evitar el colapso del a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si juntamos estas dos situaciones es f\u00e1cil suponer una inminente alza en la tarifa global, que afectar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n el tr\u00e1fico a nuestra costa. La recomendaci\u00f3n para nuestros clientes y todos los importadores, es sacar la carga lo antes posible de los puertos de Asia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta industria es muy fr\u00e1gil, responde de manera abrupta a temas ex\u00f3genos como nos hemos dado cuenta en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o.
