Con eso en mente, buscan de forma continua c\u00f3mo mejorar sus procesos productivos y se preocupan por reducir continuamente las emisiones de gases contaminantes, entre otras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Volvo Chile est\u00e1 enfocado en fortalecer el v\u00ednculo entre el sector privado y p\u00fablico, para trabajar en conjunto una serie de iniciativas que ayuden a generar un transporte de carga m\u00e1s eficiente en el \u00e1mbito energ\u00e9tico para Chile y es por ese motivo que han reafirmado su compromiso con Giro Limpio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Giro Limpio es un programa nacional voluntario, administrado por la Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energ\u00e9tica (AgenciaSE), que busca certificar y reconocer los esfuerzos realizados por las empresas de transporte de carga en el \u00e1mbito de la sustentabilidad y la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La colaboraci\u00f3n entre Volvo Camiones y Buses y Giro Limpio, comenz\u00f3 en 2018 y se sustenta en que ambas tienen dentro de sus prioridades estrat\u00e9gicas la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica del transporte y el Grupo Volvo tiene amplia experiencia internacional en esta materia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al suscribir este convenio Volvo Camiones y Buses Chile se est\u00e1 comprometiendo a -entre otras cosas- informar y educar a los miembros y clientes sobre el programa de Giro Limpio promover el curso de conducci\u00f3n eficiente e-learning SmartDriver Chile dentro de su Academia Volvo, integrar la telemetr\u00eda de Volvo con la plataforma de Giro Limpio para facilitar la reportabilidad de los socios transportistas del programa, promover la realizaci\u00f3n de proyectos piloto con camiones que incluyan tecnolog\u00edas bajas en emisiones. Adem\u00e1s, capacitar a los colaboradores de venta sobre los beneficios de las tecnolog\u00edas, insumos, servicios y otros, todos respaldados por Giro Limpio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPara Volvo Chile el cuidado del medio ambiente y las personas est\u00e1 enraizado en nuestro ADN. Los problemas ambientales son globales y somos una empresa global. Por lo tanto, somos responsables del impacto que generamos hoy y ma\u00f1ana. El acuerdo de colaboraci\u00f3n con Giro Limpio, as\u00ed como los objetivos y actividades que en \u00e9l van a desarrollarse, estar\u00e1n enfocados en fortalecer el v\u00ednculo entre el sector privado y p\u00fablico, para trabajar en conjunto una serie de iniciativas que ayuden a acelerar la transformaci\u00f3n de un transporte de carga m\u00e1s eficiente en el \u00e1mbito energ\u00e9tico para Chile.\u201d, afirma Jorge Mas\u00edas, Director General Volvo Chile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, Ignacio Santelices &#8211; director ejecutivo de la Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energ\u00e9tica &#8211; coment\u00f3 que \u201cVolvo es muy importante en esta industria y si queremos avanzar en temas de sustentabilidad en el rubro del transporte de carga, es importante que los actores principales est\u00e9n comprometidos con esto.
