En el caso del transporte de combustibles y materiales peligrosos, esta realidad no solo implica el da\u00f1o del cami\u00f3n, sino que pone en grave peligro la vida de personas, comunidades y el medioambiente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las mercanc\u00edas peligrosas son imprescindibles para la actividad industrial en el pa\u00eds. Cientos de camiones con combustibles vol\u00e1tiles, qu\u00edmicos o explosivos circulan por todo Chile diariamente, y las empresas transportistas a cargo enfrentan altos est\u00e1ndares de exigencia, pues un accidente no solo implica la p\u00e9rdida de un veh\u00edculo, mercanc\u00eda o vidas humanas, sino tambi\u00e9n posibles derrames de combustibles o sustancias t\u00f3xicas que generan un da\u00f1o significativo al medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">M\u00faltiples estudios muestran que m\u00e1s del 30% de los accidentes del transporte de carga son causados por la fatiga humana. Frente a esto, el conductor no solo es el actor m\u00e1s expuesto, sino que el principal responsable, al ser quien toma las decisiones inmediatas en cabina y quien finalmente debe velar por la seguridad propia y de la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIndustrias como la miner\u00eda siempre est\u00e1n exigiendo altos est\u00e1ndares de seguridad, y las empresas que prestan servicios deben constantemente invertir en soluciones que permitan cumplir con esa exigencia. Frente a eso, los proveedores de tecnolog\u00eda deben convertirse en aliados, entender este desaf\u00edo y trabajar en conjunto para entregar soluciones de vanguardia e inteligencia artificial que provean de seguridad y eficiencia al mercado, y reducir as\u00ed la tasa de accidentes\u201d se\u00f1ala Mario Ya\u00f1ez, Gerente General de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpschile.com\/\">GPS Chile<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpschile.com\/\">GPS Chile<\/a>, por ejemplo, ofrece un Sensor de Fatiga y Distracci\u00f3n, que permite detectar en tiempo real indicios de actividad distractora de potencial peligro, y alertar en cabina eventos de fatiga, bostezos, uso de celular, o conductas inapropiadas como mirar al costado y fumar. Las advertencias se registran y visualizan en la plataforma, para que la empresa pueda llevar un control de la actividad, contar con informes, im\u00e1genes y videos que provean evidencia de lo que pas\u00f3 en ruta. Con esta informaci\u00f3n se pueden construir r\u00e1nkings de conductores que permitan analizar los perfiles y comportamientos de conducci\u00f3n, y activar planes de mitigaci\u00f3n y mejoras para reducir las tasas de accidentes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Giovanni Iriarte, Gerente de Tecnolog\u00eda de la Informaci\u00f3n de Transportes Ilzauspe -empresa que monitorea m\u00e1s de 400 camiones con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpschile.com\/\">GPS Chile<\/a> desde hace m\u00e1s de 10 a\u00f1os- afirma: \u00abLa clave de tener un gps con el sensor de fatiga y otros sensores complementarios de seguridad, es que existe una integraci\u00f3n entre ellos.
