Ante un escenario cambiante y demandante, la industria 4.0 avanza con fuerza gracias a la conectividad.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Santiago, Abril del 2022.-<\/strong> Para el correcto funcionamiento de las tecnolog\u00edas, es importante contar con una buena cobertura inal\u00e1mbrica en el almac\u00e9n. De lo contrario, equipos como lectores de c\u00f3digos de barra, terminales m\u00f3viles o las tabletas que son manipuladas para incrementar la productividad no cumplen su objetivo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estos equipos se conectan al software de gesti\u00f3n de almacenes a trav\u00e9s de la red inal\u00e1mbrica y aqu\u00ed radica su importancia. \u201cEn la medida que el almac\u00e9n cuente con una buena arquitectura de redes WiFi, el rendimiento de trabajo con los dispositivos ser\u00e1 eficiente. Pero si la conexi\u00f3n no es \u00f3ptima, los procesos ser\u00e1n m\u00e1s lentos y la productividad se ver\u00e1 afectada\u201d, expresa Leonardo Navarrete, gerente comercial de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stglatam.com\/\">STG Chile<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante la nueva normalidad, la tecnolog\u00eda Wi-Fi ha sido fundamental para promover la productividad de los almacenes. De esta manera, junto con el desarrollo de punto de conexi\u00f3n y de aplicaciones para la industria, se han permitido automatizar muchas labores, ganando agilidad y productividad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A la vanguardia tecnol\u00f3gica<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un ejemplo de soluci\u00f3n que permite optimizar los almacenes y su conectividad es WLAN, que consiste en la cobertura con se\u00f1al inal\u00e1mbrica (WiFi) en las \u00e1reas del almac\u00e9n donde se trabaja con equipos m\u00f3viles. Su papel es fundamental pues permite la automatizaci\u00f3n de procesos que anteriormente se realizaban de forma manual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHay un aumento de la productividad, mayor control sobre los procesos, posibilidad de monitoreo en tiempo real de los m\u00e9todos y mayor precisi\u00f3n en la administraci\u00f3n del inventario\u201d, comenta el ejecutivo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para lograr una gesti\u00f3n m\u00e1s eficiente, exitosa e impulsar la productividad en los almacenes, STG, comparte algunos puntos clave para contar con una red inal\u00e1mbrica robusta y estable:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El dise\u00f1o, la selecci\u00f3n de los equipos y la configuraci\u00f3n.<\/strong> Para el dise\u00f1o se debe realizar un estudio predictivo de cobertura, que consiste en una simulaci\u00f3n utilizando un software especializado que permitir\u00e1 determinar la cantidad y ubicaci\u00f3n de los \u201cAccess Point\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Equipos de clase industrial.<\/strong> Se debe seleccionar estos equipos ya que permiten la configuraci\u00f3n de un conjunto de \u201cAccess Point\u201d para irradiar una se\u00f1al \u00fanica y facilitar la itinerancia de los usuarios sin necesidad de autenticarse en cada una de las redes inal\u00e1mbricas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Etapa de configuraci\u00f3n.<\/strong> Garantizar una buena calidad de la se\u00f1al, esto se logra a trav\u00e9s de la ecualizaci\u00f3n de canales y la configuraci\u00f3n de la potencia de transmisi\u00f3n de los Access Point.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Estudio de cobertura.<\/strong> Despu\u00e9s de la implementaci\u00f3n de una red inal\u00e1mbrica, es importante realizar un estudio de cobertura o site survey que permitir\u00e1 medir los niveles y la calidad de la se\u00f1al, de esta forma se garantizar\u00e1 que el dise\u00f1o propuesto concuerda con el resultado obtenido.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cContar con herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n como \u00e9sta abarca un profundo an\u00e1lisis de redes inal\u00e1mbricas, el que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de simplemente validar si se satisfacen los requerimientos de cobertura, sino que permite comprobar el verdadero rendimiento a nivel de usuario final en t\u00e9rminos de velocidad de la conexi\u00f3n, tasa de transmisi\u00f3n de bits y estad\u00edsticas de paquetes\u201d, finaliza Navarrete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Acerca de STG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es una compa\u00f1\u00eda que brinda soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas enfocadas en la cadena de suministros: manufactura, almacenamiento, transporte, punto de venta, e-commerce.
