Seg\u00fan <a href=\"https:\/\/ewastemonitor.info\/gem-2020\/\">The Global E-waste Monitor<\/a> 2020, en 2019 ya se gener\u00f3 un r\u00e9cord de 53,6 millones de toneladas m\u00e9tricas (Mt) de desechos electr\u00f3nicos en todo el mundo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Santiago, 08 de agosto de 2022.-<\/strong> Las industrias avanzan hacia procesos m\u00e1s digitales y la log\u00edstica no es la excepci\u00f3n. El rubro requiere de constante innovaci\u00f3n y actualizaci\u00f3n de equipos que cumplan con las crecientes exigencias del mercado en cuanto a rapidez, demanda y eficiencia. Para ello, las empresas renuevan y actualizan sus equipamientos e infraestructuras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, esta acci\u00f3n genera desechos que pueden convertirse en un gran contaminante. Seg\u00fan un estudio realizado por SOTI en 8 pa\u00edses, incluidos Estados Unidos, Alemania, Francia y Canad\u00e1, el 60% de los dispositivos port\u00e1tiles son desechados innecesariamente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa sustentabilidad es inherente a los negocios digitales del presente. Desde la urgencia mundial y tambi\u00e9n desde la exigencia del consumidor, hay mayor atenci\u00f3n con el compromiso ambiental. En este sentido, las cadenas de suministro buscan reducir impactos, sacando el m\u00e1ximo provecho a los dispositivos, considerando su ciclo de vida y usabilidad\u201d, explica <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/leonardo-navarrete-ahumada\/\">Leonardo Navarrete<\/a>, gerente comercial de STG Chile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reemplazar dispositivos m\u00f3viles por la \u00faltima versi\u00f3n del mercado resulta muy tentador. Un 52% de los encuestados admitieron reemplazar sus dispositivos al final de su \u201cesperada\u201d vida \u00fatil, mientras que un 49% asegura que lo hace una vez que el dispositivo deja de funcionar en su totalidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa sostenibilidad ecol\u00f3gica es un pilar de negocio, las empresas deben cambiar su pensamiento y ampliar la usabilidad de los dispositivos lo m\u00e1ximo posible para reducir sus desechos. En Chile, desde el 2017 y con el liderazgo de la C\u00e1mara de Comercio de Santiago, se implementa la Ley Responsabilidad Extendida al Productor, la cual marca una ruta para la gesti\u00f3n de residuos y fomento al reciclaje\u201d, comenta Navarrete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Compromiso sustentable en las compa\u00f1\u00edas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La gesti\u00f3n de desechos puede convertirse en un gran dolor de cabeza para la log\u00edstica. Seg\u00fan <a href=\"https:\/\/ewastemonitor.info\/gem-2020\/\">The Global E-waste Monitor<\/a>, los desechos electr\u00f3nicos globales alcanzar\u00e1n las 74 Mt para 2030. En ese sentido, las compa\u00f1\u00edas pueden optar por opciones m\u00e1s amigables con el medio ambiente. En esa l\u00ednea, STG entrega tres recomendaciones para sacarle el m\u00e1ximo provecho a tus dispositivos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Implementar soluciones digitales.<\/strong> Estas son claves para la administraci\u00f3n de dispositivos ya que permiten supervisar, diagnosticar y reparar los equipos. Cuando el sistema detecta una posible falla, act\u00faa r\u00e1pidamente para no comprometer el dispositivo, prolongando su vida \u00fatil, adem\u00e1s de eliminar procesos manuales tediosos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Recambio de bater\u00eda.<\/strong> Muchas veces las compa\u00f1\u00edas descartan equipos cuando las bater\u00edas cumplen su ciclo, sin embargo, \u00e9stas pueden ser reemplazadas sin ning\u00fan inconveniente ni afectaci\u00f3n en el dispositivo. De esta forma, contin\u00faa con su funcionalidad, se ahorran costos y se evitan desperdicios innecesarios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Donar, re-vender o reparar.<\/strong> Estas tres opciones permiten evitar el impacto de la huella digital y la contaminaci\u00f3n. Las compa\u00f1\u00edas pueden optar por reacondicionar o reciclar aparatos que ya no utilizan y darles un nuevo ciclo de vida, evitando desperdiciar equipos que todav\u00eda est\u00e1n capacitados para cumplir sus funciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLas empresas cuentan con un sinf\u00edn de equipos port\u00e1tiles como computadores, tablets, dispositivos m\u00f3viles, impresoras, hasta piezas de hardware.
