En medio de la crisis mundial que enfrentamos en la actualidad, las compa\u00f1\u00edas deben prepararse y crear estrategias que les permitan enfrentar interrupciones en sus cadenas de suministros.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Santiago, 29 de agosto del 2022.-<\/strong> La tensi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica entre China y Taiw\u00e1n en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas ha generado una nueva inestabilidad mundial. Esta situaci\u00f3n se suma a la actual crisis econ\u00f3mica que est\u00e1 ocasionando la interrupci\u00f3n de algunas cadenas de suministro, lo que ha ocasionado escasez de productos a nivel global. Todo este escenario se traduce en m\u00e1s inflaci\u00f3n, lo que sin duda complejiza las econom\u00edas de todo el mundo.<\/p>\n

\"LeonardoLa crisis de microchips golpea significativamente al sector. \u201cLos semiconductores son necesarios para construir los circuitos electr\u00f3nicos de las tecnolog\u00edas inteligentes. Con una capacidad productiva limitada, la demanda de semiconductores s\u00f3lo va en aumento. A esta situaci\u00f3n se suman los precios en aumento de los productos electr\u00f3nicos y la reducida disponibilidad de equipos de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n creando as\u00ed desabastecimiento\u201d, comenta Leonardo Navarrete<\/a>, gerente comercial de STG Chile.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo a la coyuntura actual, el rol de la log\u00edstica ha tomado un protagonismo mayor en la cadena de abastecimiento, teniendo que especializarse en cuatro pilares como la planificaci\u00f3n, la producci\u00f3n, el abastecimiento y el transporte. \u201cAunque cada \u00e1rea tiene su propio enfoque, un conocimiento hol\u00edstico de cada una de ellas es esencial para liderar situaciones que compliquen la cadena de suministro\u201d, agrega Navarrete.<\/p>\n

Para liderar y orientar la productividad de la industria, STG recomienda a las empresas que se preparen con el fin de evitar interrupciones en la cadena de suministro tras el conflicto mundial:<\/p>\n

1.- Considerar el costo total de propiedad y no solo el precio.<\/strong> Una ventaja competitiva para las empresas que buscan ser exitosas, es cambiar el foco de solo mirar el precio de compra, a comprender el costo total de poseer o de consumir un producto o un servicio. Proporcionar un servicio que entregue valor, en lugar de reducir los costos en cada sector de la cadena de suministro, generar\u00e1 ventajas competitivas a largo plazo.<\/p>\n

2.- Contar con una mejor visibilidad.<\/strong> La falta de sincronizaci\u00f3n de datos es una de las mayores causas de fracasos. Pensando en la industria log\u00edstica actual, es relevante que las empresas con cadenas de suministro tradicionales den el primer paso y establezcan una relaci\u00f3n con un operador log\u00edstico o partners tecnol\u00f3gicos que respondan a las necesidades m\u00e1s espec\u00edficas del negocio.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo a una encuesta realizada por Gartner, la visibilidad de principio a fin en la cadena de suministro trae como resultado una reducci\u00f3n de costos en un 20%, reduce la rotaci\u00f3n de inventarios de 10 a 7 d\u00edas, mejora la experiencia del cliente y agiliza el proceso de transporte en un 5%.<\/p>\n

3.- Realizar el planeamiento basado en los tiempos de hoy.<\/strong> Anticipar y abastecerse de insumos, materiales o equipos, son necesarios para el negocio, incluso programas de mantenimiento de maquinaria y equipos que aseguren mayor tiempo de uso. Para garantizar ello, existen soluciones para predecir de manera inteligente problemas y oportunidades potenciales, ofrecer recomendaciones de acci\u00f3n basadas en el aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico y pivotar los planes de producci\u00f3n, inventario y mano de obra para minimizar el riesgo.<\/p>\n

Hoy la visibilidad en la cadena log\u00edstica se define como la capacidad de trazar, monitorear y obtener data relevante en todo el proceso, brindando la capacidad de desarrollar y tomar decisiones que puedan llevar a eficiencias operacionales ante problemas inesperados.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
