El financiamiento de USD 70 millones para AGUNSA, l\u00edder en el transporte global de mercader\u00edas con operaciones en 20 pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, Europa y Asia, est\u00e1 asociado al cumplimiento de metas relacionadas con la reducci\u00f3n del consumo de agua y la igualdad de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta inversi\u00f3n pionera, con una estructura a largo plazo, tiene como objetivo brindar certidumbre financiera a un actor que ha consolidado su posici\u00f3n local y su diversificaci\u00f3n y expansi\u00f3n internacional. En el proceso, prev\u00e9 contribuir a un mayor desarrollo del sector log\u00edstico en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, un importante motor de crecimiento econ\u00f3mico en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEn un contexto de desaceleraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica y condiciones financieras m\u00e1s estrictas en Chile, esta inversi\u00f3n en AGUNSA, un actor comprometido con la innovaci\u00f3n y la tecnolog\u00eda, busca incrementar la productividad y la competitividad en la regi\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la promoci\u00f3n del comercio y la integraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 David Tinel, gerente regional de IFC para el Cono Sur, quien adem\u00e1s destac\u00f3 la estrategia de sostenibilidad de la firma y su replicabilidad en el sector en el que opera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEstamos orgullosos de ser los primeros en la industria log\u00edstica chilena en cerrar un cr\u00e9dito vinculado a la sostenibilidad, con compromisos ambientales y de diversidad concretos. El acuerdo nos permite avanzar en la entrega de servicios de alto est\u00e1ndar, alineados con las mejores pr\u00e1cticas para instrumentos financieros y con una tendencia que ser\u00e1 requisito para la industria en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El compromiso de AGUNSA contempla el cumplimiento de determinadas metas vinculadas a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de las Naciones Unidas. Espec\u00edficamente, con relaci\u00f3n al ODS 6 (Agua limpia y saneamiento) y al ODS 12 (Producci\u00f3n y consumo responsables), se incentiva a la compa\u00f1\u00eda a alcanzar una reducci\u00f3n del consumo de agua dulce en sus instalaciones para 2025, mientras que, respecto del ODS 5 (Igualdad de g\u00e9nero), la empresa se compromete a continuar avanzando en la equidad de g\u00e9nero y potenciar el rol de las mujeres en altos cargos ejecutivos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adicionalmente, AGUNSA continuar\u00e1 desarrollando sus pol\u00edticas, planes y programas de sostenibilidad corporativa adoptando las Normas de Desempe\u00f1o de IFC como est\u00e1ndar propio.
